So I've been thinking I should open a blog to post about my stay in Switzerland... which will begin just in twelve days!  I never owned a Tistory blog before so it was difficult to set everything up. But I'm quite satisfied with the result ;) Pretty clean and simple layout. I like it.
Summer's gone fast, September has come, and here I am. I think I'm still half & half - really really really excited but nervous/scared at the same time. It feels strange too that I'm going to a different direction when everybody's returning to CA and starting school again. Anyways, after I get to Lausanne I will try to post how I am doing, where I live, what I eat, things I do, etc from time to time.

Oh, and for those of you who might be curious, this blog's domain/name entre chien et loup (between dog and wolf) is a French expression meaning at dusk or at twilight, a time when it's just before pitch-dark and you can't tell whether the animal running towards you is your dog coming to greet you or a wolf coming to harm you. Pretty deep, isn't it? At this point you might ask,"wasn't there a K-drama named something like that few years ago?" Yes, there is. And it's my favorite. :)

1. Find a place to stay for the night near Geneva airport (Airbnb/hotel)

2. Decide how to get to Lausanne (shuttle/train)

3. Prepaid phone/SIM card (Orange)

4. Internet installation (Swisscom, UPC cablecom) + router

5. Know where to shop for things/groceries (Coop, Migros)

6. Print out all the tickets/maps/phone numbers/addresses

7. Get a decent French dictionary

8. Fix laptop

9. Learn to cook

10. Stuff kindle with good books/novels

11. Stuff iphone with good music

12. Currency exchange

13. what else? :)
